Quickstart
Create and test your first Taliiq agent in the dashboard, with no integration setup required
You are already signed in to Taliiq with a user and organization. This guide takes you from the dashboard to a working agent in a few minutes.
Platform defaults handle speech, language and voice, so you do not need to open Integrations first.
Before you start
Open the Taliiq dashboard, the same app you used to sign in to these docs. You already have a user and organization.
| Where | What |
|---|---|
| Build → Agents | List and create agents |
| Agent wizard | Two steps: pick a template, then configure |
| Agent Console | Live voice or chat test, or an API test, on the Configuration step |
Step-by-step
1. Start the wizard
Go to Build → Agents and click Create Agent. On an empty workspace you see What do you want to automate? with a card for each audience, which takes you to the same place.
You land on Template & Locale. Pick language and dialect (for example Arabic + ar-EG). Defaults work for a first test.
2. Choose a template
Pick an audience tab:
- For customers for agents that talk to your customers by voice or chat
- For operations for agents that sort tickets, score leads, review conversations or call customers to confirm appointments
Choose a template, pick the voice gender if the template speaks, then continue to Configure Agent.
Taliiq creates a draft agent and opens the editor with a banner: Your agent is ready.
3. Tune and test in Agent Console
The editor opens in Basic mode, which shows only what a working agent needs:
- Setup: the language, What should it do?, the Brain model, and the voice, greeting, quick questions or API snippet that match what your agent does
- Actions: optional tools; skip for a first test
Need every setting (guardrails, timing, caching, failover)? Switch to Advanced with the toggle at the top. Your changes carry over.
Click Try it now or use the Agent Console on the right. Voice and chat agents run a live test in the browser. API agents use an API test tab. Adjust the prompt or voice and test again until the behavior looks right.
4. Deploy
Click Deploy agent (rocket icon) when you are happy with the test.
The agent becomes active and is ready to attach to a channel.
5. Connect a channel (optional)
Pick any channel that fits your use case under Build → Channels:
| Channel | Good for |
|---|---|
| Web widget | Voice or chat on your website |
| SIP / phone | Inbound calls on a number or trunk |
| Outbound | Campaign dialing (see Outbound) |
Assign your deployed agent, finish channel-specific settings, then test end-to-end.
Overview: Channels.
What you do not need for this path
Integrations
Optional. Use it only when you want your own model or voice provider credentials. Defaults work out of the box.
Tools
Optional. Add HTTP tools or MCP on the Actions tab after the agent talks correctly.
