Web widgets, SIP, telephony routing, and offline failsafe
Channels
Channels connect your agents to end users — browser widgets, SIP trunks, phone numbers, and offline failsafe policies.
Channel types
| Channel | Dashboard path |
|---|---|
| Web widget | Build → Channels → Web |
| BYO SIP | Build → Channels → SIP |
| Outbound trunks | Build → Channels (outbound) |
| Offline Failsafe | Build → Channels → Offline Failsafe |
Typical setup
Publish an agent with the right capabilities (voice, chat, or both).
Create a channel and assign that agent.
Configure allowed domains (widget) or trunk credentials (SIP).
Copy the embed snippet or place a test call.
Optional — configure Offline Failsafe so callers hear your recording if the agent does not answer in time.
